🚀 Starfighter

I had read this story as a teenager and reread it now to write this review, and my feeling is still the same: it's incredible!

It's a mix of science fiction and frantic romance. The concept is very interesting, because the author creates an entire universe set in the distant future. In this universe, Earth already has colonies, including on Mars, as well as space bases housing soldiers who fight alien threats.

These soldiers command warships that are piloted in pairs, by a navigator and a fighter. The navigators are in charge of controlling the ship and planning strategies, and the fighters are responsible for attacking.

The protagonists are the navigator Abel and the fighter Cain, who are assigned to command the ship Reliant.

The two are complete opposites: Abel is sweet, idealistic and kind. Cain, on the other hand, is violent, impulsive and tough. Their relationship starts off rocky, and at first I'd even say toxic. But as the story goes on, we discover that they have a lot in common and complement each other.

The story is full of twists, has steamy scenes, action scenes, and other characters and couples who are really interesting! It has a surprising and moving ending!

I recommend it to anyone looking for a BL with a somewhat different concept, but who also likes couples with great chemistry, intense romances and a story full of surprises!
